This is a speculative piece using ideas which had been forming in my mind many months. I wanted to create a relatively small sideboard with a distinctly modern feel. The handles are strong continuous arcs that are an integral part of the doors and drawer fronts and their smooth sides contrast with the band sawn surface. Recessed magnets covered with suede close the doors with a firm but gentle action.
