The variety within chair design must be the greatest within the world of furniture. To be original without going 'over-the-top', or sacrificing comfort, can be a challenge. I have tried to create a chair that has a continuity of line, is comfortable and has some original touches - the arms are a cantilever but with a strong, broad joint. The strong grain of the elm adds to the character of the chair and the piece is lightly waxed to a soft sheen. |
